The Animal Justice Center was founded February 2013 by Jennifer Reba Edwards, founder and attorney with The Animal Law Center. Jennifer has practiced strictly Animal Law for several years and has realized the need for education as well as low cost and pro-bono legal aid for animals and their people. Many animal causes and cases are simply too costly to seek justice. That does not mean there are not legal remedies or educational avenues that should be sought. AJC will close the gap between those causes and cases that are not pursued simply due to the hurdle of costs.
Examples of issues that have an immediate need for action in 2016...
Our goal is to provide education and pursue litigation and legislation with regard to these issues.
